Fatal Hit and Run Near GHS Last Night
Monday, April 18th, 2016Pedestrian Killed in Fatal Hit and Run Crash
On Sunday night, April 17, at about 11 PM a 43 year old Greenwich man was struck and killed by a hit and run driver on East Putnam Avenue by Hillside Road. The man’s identity is being withheld at this time pending notification of his family.
Evidence at the scene has identified the suspect vehicle as a 2006 or later Mercedes Benz ML350 with a (damaged) silver honeycomb grill with the Mercedes Benz logo in the center of it. The damage to the grill is to the right side. At this time the vehicle color is unknown.
