Old Greenwich “Suspicious Driver” Case Closed.

The Old Greenwich suspicious driver case reported here earlier was closed. Greenwich Police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray said “It was a local resident in the area looking for his own child. …An off-duty Greenwich police officer located the vehicle and was able to interview and investigate the circumstances. … Everything was corroborated.”

In Honor of National Police Week The Greenwich Police Department

Invites You to Join Them for Police Day!!
Saturday May 12th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Public Safety Complex — Bruce Place off Greenwich Avenue

There will be a variety of departmental vehicles and equipment on display
Citizens can meet the men and women who are sworn to protect and serve the Greenwich Community.

Operational demonstrations will be performed by the K-9 unit and other special teams.

There will be a bouncy castle on site for children, free hot dogs, and other events. The Greenwich Police Honor Guard and the Police Explorers will assist Cub Scouts with a special US flag workshop.

There will be guided tours of the new Greenwich Public Safety Complex every half hour during the entire day.
