BREAKING NEWS: School Sends Police Notice to Parents

The following GPD notice about an incident near Greenwich High School was sent by the school system to parents.

On Thursday February 9, 2012 at approximately 1:15 PM two female Greenwich High School students were approached by two black males operating a “beat up” black sedan.

This incident occurred on the Post Road in Cos Cob in the area of Indian Field Road.

The female students related the males said that they were “attractive” and that they would like to take them shopping in New York City.
The males followed the students to the Sunoco gas station located at East Putnam Avenue and Indian Field Road, where the unidentified males then got out of their vehicle and approached the females. At this point the females began to run west on E. Putnam Avenue toward Greenwich High School. The males then got back into their vehicle and left the area.

The vehicle was described as a “beat up” black sedan with the new yellow New York license plate.

The area was checked for the vehicle which met with negative results.
